Protecting Our Environment: A Collective Effort

Corner Brook Intermediate would like to thank World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Canada for their financial and moral support in completing our project.  

Corner Brook Intermediate would also like to thank Learning For a Sustainable Future (LSF), a Canadian non-profit dedicated to integrating sustainability education into Canada's education system.   LSF's Ecoleague Program provided funding to support this environmental/social action project. 

This project involved starting a classroom recycling program at Corner Brook Intermediate and provided Virtual Reality viewers for the purpose of meaningfully integrating more environmental sustainability education into the school community.  

So far, we have collected thirty three large bags of paper and eight large bags of plastic bottles and aluminum cans.  Together we can make a difference!!!!
